Great experience with Doug and Ed...took all the time necessary to educate us on our trailer and matching us with the one that would actually fit our needs rather than the most expensive model. Friendly and personable...treated us like long-time friends! Love the fact that the service operation is located on-site as well. Will definitely send others your way and buy my next trailer from RTS too!

The experience in purchasing my first utility trailer through Riverside Trailer Sales eclipsed my highest expectations. The process from start to finish was one of the best purchase experiences that I have had. Doug was not only knowledgeable and helpful, but even answered questions that I didn't even know that I would have.
The RTS website is great and provided me with an opportunity to learn a lot about the trailer that I ultimately purchased before I even arrived. I purchased a new Gator Made 12' utility trailer that will serve my needs for years to come. I will only shop one place in the future for any trailer or accessory need.

I spent a great deal of time looking for the right trailer for me. I have a 72" ZT mower that is quite a beast! A little cheap landscaping trailer just wouldn't do the trick for me. Standard widths didn't work or they were just too big and too long. I also have plans to use the trailer in a variety of ways, so something specialized for a singe task had it's limitations. That was a no-go. Why can't I find what I need?!!

I searched in state (Ohio) and out of state as well. I found myself always coming back to Riverside Trailer Sales website. I read some of the customer reviews and was impressed by the remarks made by you all. (Thank you) After a year or so of research, I began making contact with the sales departments of many other trailer dealers. You ALL know how that went....(much time wasted). I finally decided... Why not buy local and support my community. So I gave Doug his shot. I have been in business for over 30 years. Those years yielded many experiences that confirmed (after speaking with Doug) that RTS was the right place to take my business. Through Doug's wisdom and willingness to go the extra mile and be available for my many questions, we decided on a custom build from Quality Steel and Aluminum Products would not only meet my needs, but be an excellent investment in a quality product. I am proud to say I have a new trailer that WILL be handed down to my son that he will use long after I'm gone. Excellent product, excellent service, and a man of integrity. I highly recommend bringing your business to RTS. You will not regret it.

This is the best place to shop for Trailers (enclosed or open). Doug gives that personal attention you can only get with a small family owned business. He goes above and beyond time and time again and his prices are better than most of the big suppliers. He helped me build an enclosed trailer by NEO and offered suggestions that were invaluable. I just bought my 2nd trailer from Doug and his guys--a new Quality Steel and Aluminum aluminum landscape trailer. With Doug's help working with the manufacturer, he was able to get me the exact specs that I needed. My first purchase was about a year ago--a new Reiser heavy duty equipment style trailer. Again, I had some specific requirements that he was able to get integrated into that trailer as well. There are other places out there to buy trailers, but I'm convinced now that there's no reason to look elsewhere. The individual attention that Doug and his guys gave me, as well as outstanding pricing on accessories and the trailers themselves, will save me time in future trailer purchases. I'm convinced they appreciate my business, so I'll definitely be back!

Spent a great deal of time researching and reviewing new trailers and used trailers; visited Riverside and spoke with Doug on two occasions. After my research and several conversations with Doug it was made clear to me that purchasing a new quality trailer with the experience of Riverside made the most sense. Walked in at 10:00 AM, and left at 11:15 feeling great about my experience and my purchase. Doug walked me through a number of options, and explained everything in detail. Having a spare added and will be ready for me to pick up tomorrow morning! I feel great about the trailer and know that if I have any issues, Doug and Riverside trailers will be there to help me along the way. Can't recommend the customer service enough - which is something in short supply in this day and age. Do yourself a favor, and if you are considering a trailer purchase - make it a point to at least stop and talk to them. You won't regret that you did.

As a small business owner, I know the importance of providing quality, personalized customer service. Additionally I value quality tools. I am very impressed with Doug's customer service, and his quality trailers. After I bought my first trailer, I noticed Doug's extensive accessories for trailers such as trimmer racks, baskets, and many other accessories to make my work easier, and more organized. Doug's trailers are of high quality, and not made with the cheaper, thinner steel that so many trailer manufacturers are moving towards. His prices are quite reasonable. In fact, while I was purchasing my first trailer, two gentlemen from out of state showed up after driving more than 100 miles, saying they couldn't find anyone closer who could beat Doug's prices and quality of trailers.Way to go Doug. I bought a new 7x14 aluminum utility trailer in the Fall of 2016 from Dougat Riverside Trailer Sales. I waited to give a review until I had used the trailer enough to gage how it handled what I needed it for.I live nearby and have passed by Riverside Trailer many times and have been interested in an aluminum trailer for awhile. Prior to buying, I stopped by several times to look at aluminum trailers and even considered another trailer brand company in Michigan that received high regards from a fellow landscaper. However, Doug was extremely personable; he always took his time with me and didn't pressure me to buy. He was also professional and knowledgeable. Ultimately, I felt that the quality of trailer I was buying was what I needed to run my landscape company. Throughout the buying process, as I gathered information, Doug did a great job communicating via phone, text and email. He even offered to help sell my current trailer by posting it in his sales office.I customized my aluminum trailer so I could design it exactly the way I needed it to function best. Doug told me it would take four weeks to build this custom utility trailer and three and a half weeks later, he called to inform me that my trailer was in. I was scheduled to pick up the trailer on a Saturday and Doug informed me right away that when he put the wheels on, he noticed they had welded the fender 2 inches off. This meant one side was too close to the wheel so Doug told me he would call the factory first thing Monday morning and would get it taken care of immediately. Although I wasn't able to take my new utility trailer home, I wasn't worried- I knew Doug would get it taken care of. By Wednesday (just 4 days later) the manufacturing company had made a completely new trailer and I picked it up that afternoon.This trailer is absolutely amazing. It always looks new and is built solid. The lightweight aluminum makes its easier to maneuver and also carry more weight. It gets better gas mileage, is less wear on the trailer's tires and ultimately less wear on my truck. Best of all, I love that I had it customized to fit my needs. Doug also found me a great deal on aluminum rims that matched the trailer. I'm grateful Doug and Ed went the extra distance to earn and keep my business. They are the best and their trailers are unbeatable!On a side note, we welcomed a baby around the time I bought this trailer and Doug's wife was kind enough to make us homemade banana bread.
